Who is The Android Blogger?

My name is Shawn, and I’m The Android Blogger.  I’m doing this because I absolutely love the Android OS and the phones that are associated with it.

I’ve been in love with smartphones ever since I had the T-Mobile SDA.  This was my first journey into the smartphone world.  From there, I went on to a white Blackberry Pearl 8100, and my obsession was born.  I’ve had the current phones at one time or another, all used on T-Mobile:

  • Blackberry 8320
  • Blackberry 8220
  • Blackberry 8900
  • Blackberry 9700
  • Blackberry 9530
  • G1
  • myTouch 3G
  • Motorola Cliq

I have rooted the G1 and myTouch 3G to see what it was about.  While it is an interesting experience, it isn’t for everybody.  I also have uploaded several “leaked” OS’s on my BB’s, again, not for everyone.

I’m going to be posting my own reviews of Android apps and various other aspects of Android and Android phones, from a regular guy’s point of view.  I’ll probably be reposting a lot from other sites, if they allow me to.  I’m not made of money, so Android handsets won’t be passing through my hands a whole bunch.  I’m using a Cliq right now, unrooted.

I’ll also be providing info about other OS’s, when I feel it necessary.

Hopefully, this site will help some people out.  I’m not an expert, just a regular guy.
